Caroline Kitten

Hastings resident, Caroline Danehey Kitten, 94, died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.

Rosary will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, June 6, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Jerel Scholl officiating. Private family burial will be at St. Stephens Cemetery, Lawrence, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007; 1P.M. - 9 P.M. at the funeral home and Wednesday, June 6, 2007, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Michael's School or to a charity of your choice in her name.

Mrs. Kitten was born September 3, 1912 in Lawrence, Nebraska to Charles & Kathryn (Bolte) Reiman. In 1933, she married Cornelius 'Neal' Danehey who preceded her in death on April 18, 1978. On September 18, 1982, she married Martin A. Kitten who preceded her in death on September 6, 2006. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Kitten was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Neal Danehey & Martin Kitten, seven brothers & six sisters.
