Carolyn Hemberger

Former Hastings resident, Carolyn R. Hemberger, 89, passed away on December 16, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, North Carolina.

A burial service will be held Monday, January 4, 2016; 2:00 P.M. at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings, Nebraska. There she will be laid to rest beside her husband of 69 years, George H. Hemberger. A memorial service will be held in May, with details to be announced later.

She was born Carolyn R. Ruegge in St. Francis, Kansas on May 15, 1926, and married George in 1945. The couple was longtime residents of Hastings, Nebraska and then lived in California for many years before moving to Grand Junction, Colorado.
