Carolyn Wynn

Hastings resident, Carolyn K. Wynn, 57, of 210 W. Idlewilde Road died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital after living with cancer for 12 years.

Services will be Thursday, February 23, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at First Christian Church with Rev. Judith Allen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Wynn was born February 19, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska to Robert D. & Juanita R. (Barta) Buffett. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1967 and attended Central Community College, Hastings, Nebraska. She was a CNA at Good Samaritan Village, The Homestead and then a personal caregiver for the elderly. She also worked in the pharmacy at Allen's. She was a life time Hastings resident and a member of First Christian Church where she was involved with several church activities, V.F.W. Auxiliary and volunteered at Senior Center, Good Samaritan Village. On April 14, 2001, she married Donald A. Wynn at the First Christian Church in Hastings.

Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorial may be given to First Christian Church

VISITATION: Tues. 2-21-06; 3pm-9pm
Wed. 2-22-06; 9am-9pm with family present 7pm-9pm
Thur. 2-23-06; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
