Carroll Seeman

Roseland resident, Carroll A. Seeman, 75, passed away August 19, 2017, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, August 26, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial with military rites by the Hastings Veterans Organization will be Saturday, August 26, 2017; 12:45 P.M. in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland. Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Hastings Veterans Organizations.

Carroll A. Seeman, the son of Alma (Knehans) and Christopher Seeman, was born on December 21, 1941, in Blue Hill, Nebraska. He graduated from high school in 1960 and soon went into the U.S. Air Force where he served 26 years. Carroll was stationed at several places in Germany; Washington D.C.; Vietnam; Las Vegas; Altus, Oklahoma; Alaska; Hanscom, Massachusetts; and Vandenberg, California.

Carroll married Marylin Hafer on August 21, 1966, in Hastings. He worked as a lineman and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Platte Valley Antique Club. Carroll's hobbies included restoring old tractors and lawn mower tractors. He would take them to parades, tractor pulls, and fairs.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Doris Drake and Bertha Lamborn; and brother, Delbert Seeman.
