Caryl Mustin

Spring Ranch resident, Caryl L. Mustin, 61, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, May 9, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, May 8, 2011; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Caryl L. Mustin Memorial Fund.

Caryl was born April 29, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska to Fred & Bernice (Wilkening) Kroeger. She was raised in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Omaha South High School and Business School in Omaha. On October 11, 1969 she married Frank Mustin in Omaha. They ran a training stable for horses in south Omaha and then moved to the Sandhills to work on ranches. In 1980, they moved to the Glenvil area. Caryl worked as a CMA and CNA for Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare for ten years, and she was currently working for The Homestead for the past 13 years.

Caryl was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Karen Fender; and infant brother, Dennis Kroeger.
