Glenvil resident, Cecelia Ann 'Cec' Bales, 64, of 31180 Road BC, died Friday, June 3, 2005 at Webber, Kansas.
Rosary will be Monday, June 6, 2005; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 7, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska.
Mrs. Bales was born June 27, 1940 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Hubert & Leona (Pokorski) Siegel. She graduated from Fairbury Jr. & Sr. High School, Fairbury, Nebraska and on September 17, 1960, she married Cecil Maynard Bales at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fairbury. They moved from Fairbury to Hinzsville, Georgia, back to Fairbury, Superior, Alexandria, and in 1974, to Glenvil, Nebraska. They spent their summers at their cabin in Webber, Kansas. She worked at Thermo King. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church , Altar Society and Cantor. She enjoyed camping, fishing and was an avid reader. She loved sports and watching her grandsons high school wrestling.
Mrs. Bales was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, M.E. & A. A. Hermann and sister, Alice Siegel.
