Cecil McKenzie

Cecil S. McKenzie, 81, of Farmington, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the loving care of his family in Hastings, Nebraska.

Graveside Services will be Monday, September 16, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Farmington, New Mexico with Bishop Roger Wood officiating. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

He was born in Manassa, Colorado to Claude & Adah (Hawkins) McKenzie. He met the love of his life, Jacqueline Poage in 1951 and they were married on January 2, 1952; she preceded him in death on August 5, 2013. They had 61 years together. Cecil coached little league baseball in Farmington for 14 years. He was a retired truck driver and a teamster for 30 years. He was an active member of the Farmington 4th Ward of the LDS Church.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Jacqueline McKenzie; and two sons, Cecil E. McKenzie and Kelly McKenzie.
