Former Hastings resident, C.G. Wallace III, 66, of Kimball, Nebraska died Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Kimball Health Services in Kimball.
Memorial service will be Friday, August 27, 2004; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Private family interment at a later date.
Mr. Wallace was born March 1, 1938 to Charles G. & Evelyn M. (Arnold) Wallace in Hastings. He received the Eagle Scout award from Troop 200 and graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1956. In 1961,he graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and from the University of Nebraska Law School in 1964. He started his law career in Hartford, Connecticut. He also practiced in North Platte. On October 28, 1984, he married Angela Casey in Dallas, Texas. He continued practicing law in Omaha until being appointed county judge for western Nebraska, where he remained until his death.
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents.
