Charles Morgan

Hastings resident, Charles Morgan, 73, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Monday, July 17, 2017; 11:00 A.M. at Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene, Hastings with Pastor Debra Rhodes officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be Tuesday, July 18, 2017; 11:00 A.M. in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene. There will be no viewing or visitation as Charles was cremated.

Charles was born October 9, 1943, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Elwood & Margaret (Ferrin) Morgan. He served in the U.S. Air Force from January 31, 1963, to October 11, 1966, and August 19, 1971, to July 20, 1974. Charles married Sylvia "Linda" Johnson on September 4, 1965. He was employed by the Hastings Police Department and Hastings Regional Center. Charles was a member of Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
