Charlotte Munstermann

Glenvil resident, Charlotte C. Munstermann, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, September 13, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church New Building Fund or Glenvil Fire Department. Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2013; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Charlotte was born July 27, 1930 in Hall County, Nebraska on a farm to Ralph & Mabel (Gerdes) Brown. She graduated from Hastings High School. Charlotte married William "Bill" Munstermann on August 20, 1961 in Rosedale, Nebraska. Out of high school she worked as a seamstress at Mod-O-Day in Hastings and owned a ceramic shop for years making town anniversary and church plates. She loved working on the farm with her family. Charlotte was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glenvil American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and held various offices in the Hastings China Bells and Extension Club Double Dozen. She enjoyed china painting, ceramics, bowling, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents.
