Cheryl L. Hoban

Hastings resident Cheryl L. Hoban, 75, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, at Butler Volland Chapel with visitation with family from 5-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 7, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Father Craig Clinch officiating. Burial will be at Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr. Memorials may be given to St. Joseph Indian School or Catholic Social Services. Mrs. Hoban was born June 1, 1948, to Clarence and Charlotte Rutt. She graduated with the Class of 1966 from Hastings High School. On August 9, 1969, she married Donald Hoban at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings. Together they had two children, Patrick and Tiffany. Mrs. Hoban was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and horticulture. Her friends and family will miss her letters and cards.

Mrs. Hoban was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick; four brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
