Christopher Walston

Hastings resident Christopher R. Walston, 16, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at his home.

Services are 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 6, at First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Andrea Paulson officiating. Burial will be 3:30 P.M. Monday, August 6, in Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery, west of Bertrand, NE. Memorials may be given to Boy Scout Troop #207 or First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Children and Youth Ministries. Book signing is 9 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Christopher was born February 20, 2002, in Ridgecrest, CA to Eric Walston & Morningstar Taggart. He attended Hastings High School where he was on the football team. Christopher was a member of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He was a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop #207 and Order of the Arrow, achieving rank of Life Scout. Christopher loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.

Christopher was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
