Services will be Friday, September 14, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home with Rev. Adam White officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 12, 2007; 6pm-9pm, Thursday, September 13, 2007; 9am-9pm & Friday, September 14, 2007; 9am until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Treadway was born April 8, 1923 in Indianola, Nebraska to Clyde & Irene (O'Dea) Treadway. He grew up and attended school in Kearney, Nebraska. He moved to Hastings in 1941 and worked for Debus and Metz Baking Company until he retired in 1984. He served in the United States Army during WWII from 1943 to 1946. He was united in marriage to Lucille Cramer at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in 1946. He was a member of the V.F.W. Club, American Legion, D.A.V. and of theTeamster Union of Omaha.
Mr. Treadway was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister, Connie and sister, Margie.
