Clara Jean Horsham, 78, of 1111 E. 6th Street, died Thursday, September 20, 2001 at her home.
Memorial services will be Monday, September 24, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Carl W. Utley & Rev. Matt Nieman officiating. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Madison, Nebraska.
Clara Jean Horsham was born April 5, 1923 in Madison, Nebraska to Dr. Frederick & Golda E. (Leck) Collins. She graduated from Madison High School and attended Doane College, Crete, Nebraska, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and Bishop Clarkson School of Nursing, Omaha, Nebraska for 2 years. On February 23, 1944, she married Jack Horsham in Madison, Nebraska. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1946. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, P.E.O. Sisterhood for 60 years and a charter member of Chapter HT, AARP, Hastings Retired Teachers and Elks Ladies Golf. She was a secretary at Hastings College for 18 years.
Clara Jean Horsham was preceded in death by her parents.
