Clarine Rosberg

Hastings resident, Clarine Rosberg, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings.

Services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. David B. McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be Saturday with family present 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Clarine was born in Hastings on September 10, 1940 to Maggie Uhrich and Ben Uhrich. She attended Hastings High School (class of 1958) and graduated from the Lincoln School of Commerce. She married Dean Rosberg from Bloomfield, Nebraska on July 7, 1962. Clarine worked for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service until becoming an adoptive parent. She was a proud homemaker, who also did in-home day care for over 25 years. Clarine enjoyed working in her flower garden, and attending auctions and garage sales.

Clarine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law Elmer, LeRoy, Robert and Russell Rosberg, sister-in-law Irene Thompson and spouses of in-laws Melvin Thompson and Velma Rosberg.
