Claude Condry

Hastings resident, Claude "Perry" Condry, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

A memorial services will be Saturday, March 13, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. David Condry officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no visitation as the remains were cremated. Memorials may be given to the family.

Claude was born May 15, 1942 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Raleigh & Marie (Grover) Condry. He attended school in Gordon, Nebraska. On August 5, 1964 he entered the U.S. Army, and was honorably discharged on July 19, 1966. He lived in Grand Island, Nebraska and worked for the City of Grand Island. On December 3, 1971, he married Virginia Schutte in Castle Rock, Colorado. They moved to Hastings and Claude worked for Lochland Country Club. He enjoyed junking and playing bingo.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Lowell Dohse; brother, Don Condry; and nephew, Mark Condry.
