Cointa Peres

Hastings resident Cointa Peres, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at her home. 

Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Craig Clinch officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 18, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Cointa was born May 26, 1940, in Mexico to Casto Sanchez and Trinidad Arce. She married Leobardo Perez in 1959 in Mexico. Cointa was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Cointa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leobardo Perez; and son, Inocente Perez.
