Colette Parr

Hastings resident, Colette Marie Parr, 63, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Wednesday, January 10; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 11, 2018; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Colette was born March 6, 1954 to Meinard & Vivian (Trausch) Parr in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated from St. Cecilia's High School in 1972. Colette was the owner and operator of Colette Parr Upholstery for 38 years. Colette was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. Colette was the past CCD and CYO coordinator for Assumption Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 19 years and member of Roseland Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the altar society. She was a member of South Central Nebraska Right to Life.

Colette's many talents included: gardening, painting, and drawing. She loved to read. The greatest joys of Colette's life were her family. She enjoyed being involved in the lives of her siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Colette was preceded in death by her father.
