Connie Katzberg

Juniata resident, Connie E. Katzberg, 66, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her home west of Juniata, after her battle with cancer for five years.

Services will be Thursday, June 6, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Marcus J. Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska following the luncheon. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover or donor's choice. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, 2013; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2013; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Connie was born to Wilbur & Irene (Hanson) Katzberg. Connie was born December 2, 1946 in Hastings, Nebraska. She went to District 29 Grade School by Juniata and graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1965. Connie attended Central Community College in Hastings and worked in the office of Hastings Industry for many years, Adams County Courthouse, and Bruckman Rubber. She was confirmed in Faith Lutheran Church in May 1961. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Connie enjoyed shopping and her pets, especially her dog Sparky who will miss her very much.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and aunts & uncles, Lenora & Leon Stulken, Robert Hermann, Orville Augustin, Walter Katzberg, Eugene McCasland, and George & Faye Hanson.
