Connie Kort

Hastings resident, Connie Ann Kort, 56, of 1305 North Williams Avenue, died Monday, October 29, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Rosary will be Friday, November 2, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 3, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2007; 1PM-9PM, Friday, November 2, 2007; 9AM-5PM at the funeral home and 6PM until rosary at the church. Saturday, November 3, 2007, 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Connie Ann Kort Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Kort was born September 17, 1951 in Hastings, Nebraska to Charles R. & Eileen M. (Yettman) Witt. She graduated from St. Cecilia's High School in 1969. She attended Kearney State College and received her degree in Child Care from Central Community College, Hastings, Nebraska in 1998. On June 10, 1973, she married Larry Dean Kort at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska. She worked with the infants at Pooh Corner Day Care. She was a lifelong resident of Hastings & Hansen. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church until 2000, when she became a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar Society and was active in Marriage Encounter.

Mrs. Kort was preceded in death by her parents.
