Cora Forney

March 17, 1906 — December 5, 2001

Former Glenvil resident, Cora Forney, 95, of Perkins Pavilion, died Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, September 8, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Cora Forney was born March 17, 1906 in St. Paul, Nebraska to Nels & Mattie (Laursen) Paulsen. She graduated from St. Paul High School and from Hastings Beauty School. On June 20, 1933, she married William G. Forney and he preceded her in death in 1957. She moved from Geneva, Nebraska to the Glenvil, Nebraska area in 1971. She was a beautician for 20 years, retiring in 1982 from the LaSalle Beauty Shop.

Cora Forney was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William G. Forney, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 half sisters and 1 grandson.

Survivors include,

Daughter: Elaine Fitzke - Glenvil, NE Son & Daughter-in-law: Gerald Sr. & Jane Forney - Riverton, WY 4 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren

Memorial maybe given to Donor's Choice
Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sat. 9-8-01; 9am until service time
