Hastings resident, Creighton L. Hamburger, 37, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.
Rosary will be Friday, February 24, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Father Thomas Brouillette officiating. Memorial Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given in honor of Creighton Hamburger for the care of Mady and JJ. Book signing will be Friday, February 24, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.
Creighton was born July 26, 1979 in Hastings, Nebraska to William "Bill" & Maria (Brown) Hamburger. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1997. Creighton married Stacie Meyer on March 25, 2000 in Hastings, Nebraska.
He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the Smith Softball Complex for the City of Hastings Parks & Rec. Creighton attended First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was active in coaching his kids' soccer teams through the YMCA and Hastings Soccer Club. Creighton was a car enthusiast, loved to watch soccer, workout, and ride his Harley.
Creighton was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard Hamburger and cousin, SSG. Patrick Hamburger.
