Creighton Horton

Hastings resident, Creighton L. Horton, 56, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, on opening day of deer season, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015; 6:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2015; 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.

Creighton was born May 26, 1959 to LaVerne & Evelyn (Parr) Horton in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from St. Cecilia's Catholic Schools in 1977. He married Beth Heinz on September 10, 2011. He worked in truck parts sales for 28 years. His family was very important to him, as were his friends.

Creighton was preceded in death by his father; LaVerne Horton and grandparents; Lawrence & Helen Parr and John & Sarah Horton.
