Cynthia Young

Hastings resident Cynthia Kaye Young, 58, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, at her home.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Joel Wallin officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation and book signing will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Cynthia was born June 9, 1960, in Lincoln, NE to George L. & Sharon K. (Rathjen) Young. She moved to Hastings in the 1980s. Cynthia enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, riding her motorcycle, camping, tubing down the river, playing pool, and spending time with her family and animals.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Young; brother, Butch Salmon; and sister, Kim Stamper.
