Dale Brader

October 12, 1925 — June 24, 2005

Rural Pauline resident, Dale Eugene Brader, 79, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2005; 10;30 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Brader was born October 12, 1925 to Charles & Grace (Hinrikus) Brader on a farm south of Hastings. He attended country school District #43 southeast of Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School in 1943. On January 12, 1947, he married Dorothy D. Husman at Pauline, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on November 8, 2000. They raised a family and farmed in the Glenvil area until 1965 and then moved to their current residence by Pauline, where they founded, River View Farms, Inc. In 1974. Mr. Brader was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Second Presbyterian Church, where he served as Trustee, Elder and helped with several church projects. He was a school board member of District #75 and a Life Member of the Elks #159. He received the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award for keeping a homesteaded farm in the same family for over 100 years. He also received soil and water conservation awards. He was a farmer and livestock producer and loved every minute of it.

Mr. Brader was preceded in death by parents, wife and one grandchild.

Memorial may be given to First Presbyterian Church

VISITATION: Mon. 6-27-05; 9am-9pm
Tue. 1 hr. prior to service at the church
