Dale Dixon, 62, of 1605 W. 9th Street, died Friday, September 21, 2001 as a result of an accident in South Dakota.

Services will be Wednesday, September 26, 2001; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Kathleen Kasper officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dale Dixon was born September 28, 1938 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Alvin & Bessie (Karth) Dixon. He graduated from Nebraska City High School, Nebraska City, Nebraska in 1957. He married Sharon K. McKnight on March 13, 1982. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1995. He was a truck driver for Meadow Gold for 20 years and for Cleary Building in Grand Island, Nebraska for the last 6 years.

Dale Dixon was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.
