Dale Mau

Dale Arthur Mau, age 88, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Dale had been residing at Blue Hill Care Center in Blue Hill, Nebraska prior to his passing. He passed away at Mary Lanning Healthcare as result of cancer.

Dale was born February 22, 1928 in Sutton, Nebraska to William C. Mau and Minna O. (Manthei) Mau. Dale spent most of his life in the Sutton/Juniata area. He was a farmer and a veteran. Dale served in the Army as a Private First Class and was deployed in the Korean War. He earned a United Nations Service Metal and Korean Service Medal. Dale was a member of the American Legion in Sutton for 64 years and a member of the Eagles for 20 years.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, William and Minna Mau; brother, Ray Mau; and sister, Genevieve Nuss.
