Dale Dixon

Hastings resident, Dale Owen Dixon, 70, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at his home.

Memorial services will be Thursday, August 11, 2011; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.

Dale was born November 24, 1940 in Republican City, Nebraska to Harley & Irene (Schwab) Dixon. Dale was the oldest child; he had three brothers and one sister. He graduated from Alma High School in 1960 and received a Degree of Chapter Farmer from Future Farmers of America. Dale served with the U.S. Navy from 1960 until 1964. He married Marlene Snider on March 9, 1973. Dale worked for Dutton-Lainson for 17 years and Hastings Utilities for 28 years. He had attended Keystone Baptist Church. Dale loved playing card games.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
