Dale Vanderpool

Hastings resident, Dale E. Vanderpool, 80, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

There will be no services as Dale's wishes were to donate his body to the Anatomical Board of Nebraska. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Church, c/o Julie Vanderpool, 1225 N. Elm Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Dale was born November 20, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska to Elmer & Eileen (King) Vanderpool. Dale served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1953-1955. He was a lifelong over the road truck driver. He also drove a charter bus. He had numerous friends and will be missed by all including his Goldenrod coffee buddies.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; four brothers; nephews, aunts and uncles.
