Darlene Harms

Former Beatrice resident, Darlene M. Harms, 86, died Monday, January 28, 2013 at College View Assisted Living & Memory Support, Hastings, Nebraska

Services will be Thursday, January 31, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Lonnie Logan officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Darlene was born November 9, 1926 in Mascot, Nebraska to Jerrold & Mary (Poehlman) Philby. She married Darreld L. Harms on May 19, 1944. Darlene was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church and Ladies Circle in Beatrice, Nebraska. She loved crocheting, flower gardening and traveling. She and Darreld moved to Hastings in June of 2012.

Darlene M. Harms was preceded in death by her parents; son, daughter and brother and sister.
