Darlene Stromer

August 12, 1931 — December 20, 2004

Rural Hastings resident, Darlene Stromer, 73, of 250 W. Prairie Lake Rd., died Monday, December 20, 2004 at her home.

Services will be Thursday, December 23, 2004; 2:00 P.M. at the Second Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska.

Mrs. Stromer was born August 12, 1931 in Adams County, Nebraska to Louis J. & Insina (Bohlen) Buhr. She married Donald J. Stromer on June 25,1950 at the Hanover Presbyterian Church. For fifteen years, she was a clerk at J.C. Penney's and seventeen years a Coordinator of Services for the Adams County Senior Services, retiring in 1991. She volunteered as a pink lady at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stromer was a life long area resident and a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, the Women's Association and the American Legion Auxiliary in Glenvil.

Mrs. Stromer was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and a great grandchild.
