Darrell Herringer

Hastings resident Darrell Lesley Herringer, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Private family services will be held at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to "Team Nick" Nick Herringer's Cancer Fund. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Darrell was born May 10, 1928, in Ada, MN to Harry & Alma Herringer. He graduated from Ada High School and attended college in Madison, SD. Darrell served as a corporal in the U.S. Army from February 21, 1951, until February 26, 1953. He married Arla Mae Brown on September 28, 1958. Darrell worked as a press operator and department head for Hastings Industries.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Herringer, Van Herringer, and Russell Herringer; and sister, Marge Cain.
