Darrell Krull

Hastings resident, Darrell Glen Krull, 82, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, December 27, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at Hanover Presbyterian Church, Glenvil with Pastor Steve Deines officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Haven Home in Kenesaw.

Darrell Glen Krull, the son of Claus and Grace (Bohlen) Krull, was born on a farm near Glenvil, Nebraska, on December 14, 1931 and passed away in Kenesaw, Nebraska, on December 22, 2013, at the age of 82. He was married to Beverly Rose Lambie on May 31, 1953, at Fairfield Methodist Church in Fairfield, Nebraska. Darrell retired from Juniata Elevator after numerous years of hard work. He then went to work part time at Big G Ace Hardware in Hastings, Nebraska. Darrell was a member of Hanover Presbyterian Church in Glenvil and served as an elder. He loved to do woodworking projects, spend time outdoors doing yard work and gardening, and taking walks around Heartwell Park.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian; and sister, Ruth.
