Daryl Garber

Hastings resident, Daryl L. Garber, 74 of 1918 West 5th Street, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

There will be no services.

Mr. Garber was born February 8, 1933 in Hastings, Nebraska to Troy & Violet A. (Mathews) Garber. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1951 and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from July 16, 1951 until July 8, 1955. He was a radio announcer for KHAS and later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. After retiring, he moved back to Hastings, Nebraska.

Survivors include seven 1st cousins.
