Daryl Ochsner

January 14, 1930 — May 20, 2006

Glenvil resident, Daryl D. Ochsner, 76, of 4240 S. Antioch Avenue, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 due to an automobile accident.

Services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil, Nebraska with Rev. Larry Handeland officiating. Burial with military rites will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery.

Mr. Ochsner was born January 14, 1930 near Stockham, Nebraska to Fred & Blanche (Bishop) Ochsner. He graduated from Trumbull High School, Trumbull, Nebraska in 1949. He served in the Untied States Army during the Korean War stationed in Japan. On June 18, 1955, he married Arlene Heye at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He worked at Hastings Utilites prior to farming. He farmed in Adams County all of his life. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil, Church Council, Hastings V.F.W., Glenvil American Legion, Farmers Union, Glenvil Rural Fire Department Board and was on the St. Paul's Cemetery Board. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, fishing and family.

Mr. Ochsner was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Doyle.

Memorial may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil, NE

Tue. 5-23-06; 9am-9pm with family present 7pm-9pm
Wed. 5-24-06; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
