David Kruger

Ayr resident, David A. Kruger, 64, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Private services and burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the David A. Kruger Memorial Fund. There will be no viewing or visitation.

David was born January 26, 1953 to Donald & Geraldine (Betteen) in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from Huron High School in South Dakota and attended Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. He married Charlene Reese; they later divorced and she preceded him in death. David married Alice Lemke in June 1984 in Hastings, Nebraska at the All Saints Chapel. He served in the United States Navy from June 17, 1971 to March 20, 1973.

David attended the Evangelical Free Church in Hastings and was a member of Family Campers & RVers and Good Samaritan Camping. David liked the outdoors, camping, and old cars. He enjoyed building camping accessories and building campers on pick-ups.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Charlene Reese.
