Dean Fuller

Hastings resident, Dean Allen Fuller, 73, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at his home.

Memorial Services with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be Friday, October 28, 2016; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Fred Davis officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Dean was born February 25, 1943 in Red Cloud, Nebraska to Guy & Violet (Diedtrich) Fuller. He served in the U.S. Army from November 10, 1961 - November 14, 1964. Dean married Diep "Debbie" Thi Nguyen in 1973; she preceded him in death on March 5, 1994. He was employed at Brommer Optical Dispensary Inc. until his retirement. Dean was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends. He enjoyed teasing and laughing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dean also enjoyed watching Husker football.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diep Thi Nguyen; sisters, Phyllis and Arlene; and brother, Bill.
