Dean Knoedler

Hastings resident, Dean Knoedler, 74, of 1003 N. Baltimore, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at his home.

Celebration of Life is Friday, June 12, 2009; 2:00 P.M. at First Christian Church, with Rev. Dr. Judith Allen officiating. Memorials may be given to First Christian Church.

Mr. Knoedler was born April 15, 1935 to Otto and Avis (Dewitt) Knoedler in Cozad, NE. He graduated from Cozad High School and married Virgene Brand on March 5, 1959 and they celebrated their 50th anniversary just recently. Dean was a meat cutter at Swift, and also worked at Dutton Lainson and Herbergers. He was a member of First Christian Church and a Boy Scout leader. Dean was kind hearted, no one was a stranger because he loved to talk to everyone. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much.

Mr. Knoedler was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
