Dean F. Young, 69, of 214 E. 6th Street, died Monday, April 30, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Thursday, May 3, 2001; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Mark Farris officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dean F. Young was born May 19, 1931 in Holdrege, Nebraska to Fred & Flora (Eaton) Young. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1944 and married Dorthy J. Armstrong in Red Cloud, Nebraska on June 2, 1951. He worked for Steam Fitters Local 464, Omaha, Nebraska. He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Eagles and Steam Fitters Local 464 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dean F. Young was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial maybe given to Kidney Foundation or First Baptist Church
