Debra Manske

Hastings resident, Debra "Debbie" (Bassett) Manske, 64, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings after battling cancer.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. In honoring her wish to be cremated, there is no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for distribution at a later date.

Debbie was born October 15, 1952 to Harold and Donna (Rasmussen) Bassett in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated from Adams Central High School in 1970. On January 29, 1971, Debbie married Rolland Manske at Zion Lutheran Church. They were blessed with 46 years of marriage.

She was secretary at Gary Thompson Agency until her retirement in 2014. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Kylie.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Harold, and several uncles.

Survivors include her husband, Rolland Manske; one daughter, Traci Jo (Rex) Rowley; one granddaughter, Kylie Rowley; her mother, Donna Bassett; one sister, Diane Peyton; one brother, Mark Bassett all of Hastings, Nebraska; sisters- and brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and friends.
