Hastings resident, Delma May Dudgeon, 84, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Saturday, November 14, 2015; 10:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings with Pastor Cindy Karges officiating. Burial will be in Carleton Cemetery, at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, November 13, 2015; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
Delma was born November 21, 1930 to Charles Taylor & Delma Marthina (Garmire) Wilson in Hebron, Nebraska. She attended Hebron High School. Delma married Robert "Bob" Dudgeon on December 28, 1947. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hebron and Grace United Methodist Church in Hastings. Delma was a housewife but also sold Tupperware and Faye Swafford purses. She worked at Central Market in Hebron. Delma was a foster parent and drove the school bus for Hebron Public Schools.
Delma was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Betty Bell & Barbara Johnson.
