Former Hastings area resident, Delma K. Plein, 89, of Haven Home of Kenesaw, died Friday, June 30, 2006 at Haven Home.
Rosary will be Sunday, July 2, 2006; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 3, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Christopher Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Plein was born August 16, 1916 in Ayr, Nebraska to Ernest & Amanda (Brown) Druecker. She graduated from Ayr High School and married Arthur J. Plein on May 15, 1943 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1954. She was a ward secretary at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Willing Workers Sewing Circle. She moved to Schuyler, Nebraska in 2001 and to Kenesaw in May of 2006.
Mrs. Plein was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur, two sisters, Lela Stimbert and her twin, Velma Copple, brother Clinton Druecker and a half brother Ernest.
