Juniata resident, Delmar "Buck" Raymond Lehman, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at his home.

Services will be Friday, January 13, 2012; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be Friday, January 13, 2012; 3:00 P.M. in West Eustis Cemetery, Eustis, Nebraska. Visitation will be Thursday, January 12, 2012; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service. A memorial fund will be established.

The family requests that you wear blue jeans, hats, and boots to the service as this fit Buck's lifestyle. Delmar "Buck Raymond Lehman was born November 24, 1923 and died at his home near Juniata, Nebraska on January 10, 2012 surrounded by his family. Buck was born south of Eustis, Nebraska to Oscar & Ruby (Moyle) Lehman. Buck's parents died by the time he was 4 years old. He and his brother, Robert, lived with their aunt and uncle, Blanche & Alvin Swenson. Buck attended school at Elwood, Nebraska. He joined the Navy after graduation from high school. He served on the Battleship USS Mississippi in the South Pacific Theater during World War II. Buck then, spent time working on a ranch in northwest Nebraska. After several years, he returned to the Eustis area, where he met and married Donna J. Moritz. To this union six children were born. Buck worked as a cowboy most of his adult life until he retired at the age of 75. His work and his life centered around family and raising, training, and using horses.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and son, Lonnie.

Survivors include: Wife, Donna Lehman; Children & Spouses: Roxie Lehman & Steve Palmer, Lori & Ron Wiseman, Ruby & Mike Houck, Judy Lehman, Jerry Lehman; Grandchildren & Spouses: Jenny & Matt Korth, Gregg Zike, Jr., Chris & Pam Wiseman, Josh & Sarah Zike, Hilary & Bob Bradley, Zane & Sadie Houck, Isaac Zike; Great-Grandchildren: Victoria, Dean, Landon, Beau, Khloe, Sidnie, Rochelle, Tucker; Sister-in-law: Berdina Houlden; adopted family: Dave, Vicki, Shawn, Brandon, Erica, and Molly Hartmann; and many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
