Delno Pedersen

Hastings resident, Delno L. 'Pete' Pedersen, 69, of 133 East Park St., died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, April 28, 2006; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Pedersen was born June 27, 1936 in Boelus, Nebraska to Ofelt & Mildred (Hedglin) Pedersen. After graduating from Hastings High School, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War from July 19, 1954 to July 18, 1957. He married Leanna Hansen and later they divorced. He was a small engine mechanic at Hastings Battery & Electric. On February 9, 1974, he married Wanda Worlein and they later divorced. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, V.F.W., N.R.A., and North American Hunting Club. He loved to fish & hunt.

Mr. Pedersen was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Earl; sister; Joyce Hoffman and a nephew, Bill Feurt.
