Hastings resident, Delores N. (Ernst) Koch, 92, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Saturday, July 29, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Chapel - Good Samaritan Village, Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will be Saturday, July 29, 2017; 1:00 P.M. in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw. Memorials may be given to Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society, Hastings. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the chapel.
Delores was born May 23, 1925, in Hastings, Nebraska to Chester Ernst and Donna (Debord) Ernst. She grew up in Bladen, Nebraska and graduated from Bladen High School in 1942. Delores was married to George W. Koch on September 21, 1946, in Smith Center, Kansas. The couple lived in Hastings where she had several occupations. She was employed by Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph, Sunnyside Nursing Home, and Atch's Restaurant.
Delores was a member of Hastings Berean Bible Church and later All Saints Chapel at Good Samaritan Village in Hastings. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, playing bingo, and attending and watching sporting events, especially baseball.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. Koch; and brother, Merle Ernst.
