Former Hastings resident, Delores Ann Weber, 78, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, died Friday, October 14, 2005 in Green Forest, Arkansas.
Services will be Tuesday, October 18, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Weber was born January 27, 1927 in Bellwood, Nebraska to Benjamin & Katherine (Steiner) Homan. She graduated from Bellwood High School, Bellwood, Nebraska in 1944. She received her Registered Nursing Degree in 1948 from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She received a Nurse Anesthetist Degree from John Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland and in 1980 a Sociology Degree from Hastings College, Hastings, Nebraska. She was a registered nurse at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. She married Dr. Clarence R. Weber on March 17, 1961 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 1995. She worked for her husband at Hastings Surgical Associates. She moved from Hastings to Holiday Island, Arkansas in 1985 and was Director of Nursing in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She was a past member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Ak-sar-ben and a volunteer for 4-H. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Mrs. Weber was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Robert James Weber, step daughter, Jane DeVaney, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
