Deloris Domeier

Grand Island resident, Deloris R. Domeier, 87, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at Wedgewood Care Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017; 1:00 P.M. at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grand Island, Nebraska with Rev. Thomas Schneider officiating. Graveside service will be at 3:30 P.M. in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., with family present at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1300 Grand Island Avenue, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Deloris was born December 5, 1929 to Ludwig G. & Christina (Ackerman) Unterseher in Sutton, Nebraska. She graduated from Sutton High School. Deloris married Dean Domeier on October 29, 1950 in Grafton, Nebraska. Dean preceded her in death on May 8, 2000. Deloris and Dean owned and operated D & D Bakery in Sutton for 30+ years. Deloris retired after working 25 years at Wal-Mart in Grand Island. She loved being with her children, grandchildren and their families. Deloris enjoyed playing cards and bird watching, especially cardinals.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Harold, Leo, and Rueben Unterseher; and sister, Selma Davis.
