Dolores Jacobi

Hastings resident, Dolores Irene Jacobi, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Sunday, February 16, 2014; 7:30 P.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 17, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Hastings Catholic Schools Trust or St. Michael's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2014; 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. and Sunday, February 16, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to Rosary and Mass at the church.

Dolores was born February 21, 1929 in Hastings, Nebraska to Edmund & Stasia (Dusatko) Maul. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1947. Dolores married H. Edward Jacobi on June 6, 1950 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hastings; he preceded her in death on August 1, 2013. She was a homemaker, worked at Hastings General Credit, Hested's, and was the secretary for Jacobi's Carpet, Linoleum & Tile. Dolores was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H. Edward Jacobi; and two brothers, Don Maul & Eldon Maul.
