Dolores Witte

Grand Island resident, Dolores "Dede" V. Witte, 61, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017, in Juniata, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Friday, December 15, 2017; 10:15 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Book signing will be Thursday, December 14, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Dede was born September 16, 1956, in Aurora, Colorado to Harry C. & Virginia (Nodlinski) Jackson. She previously worked as a sales associate in the shoe department at Dillard's in Grand Island. Dede was a past member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Dede was a fun and loving spirit who always greeted everyone with a smile. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren and worked very hard for them. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Dede was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sonny Jackson.
