Donald Hendrickson

Former Hastings resident, Donald "Don" Ray Hendrickson, 69, left this life to be with the Lord on Sunday June 25, 2017 at Central City Care Center, Central City, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Friday, July 14, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Greg Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Don was born November 17, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was adopted from the Nebraska Children's Home Society on August 12, 1953 by his loving parents: Ray and Edith (Potts) Hendrickson of Blue Hill. He graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1966. Don married Susan Helms on April 23, 1990; she preceded him in death on July 19, 2012.

Don was employed at Jerry Spady's for over 30 years as a car salesman and auto detail manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and had a passion for cars, animals, and Elvis Presley.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Edith; wife, Sue; and nephew, Mike.
